Psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families
If you’ve always felt like the outsider—the black sheep, the one who doesn’t quite fit—you’re not alone. You might struggle with anxiety, numbness, overwhelm or reactivity without understanding why, where it comes from or how to manage it. These patterns often have roots in past experiences, the systems that formed you and how your nervous system has learned to adapt. I aim to help clients make sense of their experiences, feel more grounded and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels real and sustainable.
As an LCSW, I use different tools from my training and life experiences to tailor support and interventions according to what my clients need. I am trained in EMDR, certified in animal-assisted therapy and am influenced by internal and external family systems. Feminism, queer/trans liberation and somatic connection are cornerstones of my approach to therapy.
I am inspired by underdogs, outcasts, weirdos and artists- people who figure out exactly who they are and do it on purpose (to quote the esteemed Dolly Parton), despite what the rest of the world may say about it. Authenticity intrigues me, and I'd love to help you find what that means for you.
"The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door."
